The only change to be effected at this tirne is to change the date frorn which longevity will be calculated. Instead of beginning the longevity payrnent the following pay period in which the anniversary occurs, it is recornrnended that the longevity benefit be rnade effective the beginning of the payroll period in which the anniversary occurs.
