The Cornrnunity Relations Cornrnission, and like organizations, have been called upon to assist in rnarshalling support for this appeal. The Cornrnunity Relations Cornrnission of the City of Oklahorna City, petitions the Mayor and City Council to adopt a Resolution proclairning and reaffirrning their support for Equal Housing Opportunity. Ross City Manager Attachrnent RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING SUPPORT FOR EQUAL HOUSING OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL CITIZENS 'WHEREAS, April 11, L972, was the fourth anniversary of the signing of the United States Fair Housing Law; and \MHEREAS, Equal Housing Opportunity is the right and ability of all Arnericans to have a choice in housing, whereby individuals of sirnilar incorne leveIs in the sarne housing rnarket area have a like range of housing choices available to thern regardless of their race, color, religion, or national origin. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Mayor and the Council of the City of Oklahoma City do hereby reaffirrn and proclairn their support of Equal Housing Opportunity for all citizens.
