This is an example of Teaser or Abstract

This allows public users to find records which may be designated only for private members, but restricts what they are able to see. In this scenario, the user would be prompted to fill out a form, to either register for membership, or that form may route a request to someone (workflow) which would need to first be approved by those in charge, in order to grant them access. Teaser or Abstract is to let others know that records do exist while restricting how much of it they can see. This option can be turned off from your project eliminating all record to be viewed (including teaser) by all non authorized users.

VIII A + 6-9-70 ' /6o/ 0 JUilI J ,,T J COUNCIL MEMO NO. 823-70 4,*--*'/'} June 4, 1970 TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: City Manager SUBJECT: Resolution Approving Up-grading of Traffic Engineer Sa1ary Range The inability to attract and to ernploy a qualified Traffic Engineer over the past yeat necessitated a special salary survey to deterrnine the adequacy of our present salary range. The position of Traffic Engineer is irnportant to the operation of the Traffic Control Departrnent and is necessary to be able to participate in federally funded projects. Twenty-three cities responded to our survey showing an average starting salary of $957 per rnonth. Therefore, with these results, the adrninistration recornrnends an up-grading of the salary range of Traffic Engineer frorn salary range #225 - $820 - $1002.50 to salary range #ZZB - $gZO-$I092.50 to be effective July l, L970. espec subrnitted, Rob H. OIdIa City Manager Attachrnent RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Traffic Control Director has requested a review of the position of Traffic Engineer within his departrnent concerning the salary range for this position, and WHEREAS, the Personnel Director has conducted a special salary survey to deterrnine the adequacy of the present salary range, and WHEREAS, the Adrninistrative Staff has reviewed this reguest along with the Personnel Director and the Finance Director and concur in recommending upgrading this salary range, and WHEREAS, the City Council has the sole authority and responsibility to approve such actions concerning the expenditure of funds not approved in the presently adopted budget, and WHEREAS, the funds for this action are available within the present lirnitations of the FY70-71 budget, and WHEREAS, this action is deerned to be in the best interest of the City in that it would provide better and rnore effective services to the public; NOW, THEREtr'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the personnel actions and appropriation requested in the attached cornrnunication is approved and the City Manager is directed to process the budgetary appropriations in accordance with State Laws concerning Excise Board consideration. H. Oldland, City Manager SUBJECT: Engineering Aide Il[ - Account 2I The staff has for some tirne had under study the inclusion of a third level engineering aide in Account 2l The engineering aide classifications in this account describe the activities of our field survey crews. In a field survey crew there are four distinctive Ievels, Chainrnan (Engineering Aide I), Rodrnan ( Enlineering Aide I), I.rstrurnent- rnan (Engi.neering Aide II) and. Party Chief (Engineering Technician)" The staff proposes that the Chainrnan be classified as Engineering Aide I, the Rodrnan be classified as Engineering Aide 1I, the Instrurnentrnan as Engineering Aide III and the Party Chief to rernain as Engineering Technician. A result of this alignrnent is to add one nerv classification to the classification plan, that of an Engineering Aide III 352, Salary Range 117, $550-600. This new classification would in effect provide for reclassification of three Engineering Aide Irs to Engineering Aide IIrs and three Engineering Aide IIrs to Engineering Aide IIIrs and a salary differential between Chainrrran, or the beginning entry level position and the Rodrnan. Even though the staff recorrrrlends a new classification, the result is to better classify existing personnel rvith no additional personnel to be added to the Personnel Schedule in the budget for FY69-70. Tire budget effect for the rernainder of FY69-70 would be $l2oo. oo. Therefore, it is the adrninistrationts recornrnendation that the nerv classifi.cation of Engineering Aide III be added tc the Classification Plan and that the effective date of such classification be January I, 1970. sPec ubrnitted, Rob rt H.
