Kennedy Ur Renewal Plan. The City Council on May 31, L966, approved the John F. Kennedy Urban Renewal PIan Project No. Qk1a. R -35. On June 12, L969, the Planning Commission approved a ,resolut ion recommending that the following modifications to rhe be approved: 1 Vacation of Euclid treet, between Lottie Avenue and Kate Avenue. 2. Changing of of the subsection in the subj ect Plan that contains the us to be permitted in the multi-family residential. The Board of Commissioners of the oklahoma City urban Renewal Authority on March 18, 1969, determined that the said modifi'cations are not significant deviations frorlr the existing Urban Renewal Plan and are desirable in order to make mpre land availatile for public and quasi- public uses. I I There are two multi-family hous ing projects planned for the property lying north and sourh of Euclid The vacation of Euclid Street will provide additional land that 11 be used as parking and open space for the proposed projects. The change in the language for uses permitted in multi-family re- sidential is a clarification of the Plan so that only commercial uses will be an auxiliary use in a multi-fanpily area, and that Public and Quasi- fublic uses will be permitted in nfulti-family area as a predominant use. KENNEDY URBAN RENEWAI PLAN PROJECT NO. OKLA. R-35, ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE OKLAHOMA CITY URBAN RENEWAI AUTHORITY WHEREAS, certain modificatj-ons to the urban renewal plan for the John F. Kennedy Urban Renewal Project No. Okla. R-35 have been approved by the Board of Commissj-oners of the Oklahoma CiLy Urban Renewal Authority by Resolution No. L032 on the 18th day of March, L969; and WHEREAS, said modifications 4.re not significant deviations from the existing urban renewal plan and are desj-rable in order to make more land available for public and quasi-public uses; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Cqmmission has reviewed such modifications and determined. that the same are in conformity with the general plan for the City of Oklahoma City; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended to the Council of the City of Oklahoma City that such modifications be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Oklahoma City hereby approves and adopts the modifications of the John F.
