Justification: To attract qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director in order to fully irnplernent an effective cornrnunity relations program. This position has been vacant for eleven rnonths which rnay largely be attributable to an inadequate salary range. A survey of our cornpprative cities indicates that the Oklahorna City salary range is not cornpetitive with salaries paid in other large cities or by the Federal Governrnent for posts of sirnilar duties and responsibilities.
