R-20. On June 9, L97O, Council adopted a resolution amending Project No. Okla. R-20, the University Medical Center Urban Renewal Project to provide for expanded development of the Oklahoma Health Center. The total estimated cost of the revised project is $37,228, 412.00 of which is to be shared on the basis of two-thirds Federal and one-Lhird local participation. The enclosed cooperation agreement will supersede the original agree- nent adopted on May 13, 1965. In substance this agreement assures the provision of the required one-third loca1 share of the amended Medical Center project, approximately $12,4O9,47L.OO. This local share,while being assured by the City, will actually be provided hy local agencies in conjunction with the City in the follow- ing manner: 1. Regents of the University of Oklahoma $2,O87 ,74L.OO 3, 500, 000.00 2. State of oklahoma & Dept. of Highways 400 ,000.00 3. Independent School District No. 89 of Oklahoma County 45,500.00 4. Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority 13 , 780, 000 . o0 5. Oklahoma Health Sciences Foundation 650, 000.00 6. Real Estate Tax Credit L7 6 ,97 9. 00 7. City of Oklahoma City r,150,666.OO With the exception of the Oklahoma Health Sciences Foundation, Inc. executed agreements between these locaI agencies and the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority have been secured. These agreements cover the one-third local share of the amended Medical Center Urban Renewal project. Copies of the executed agreements have been placed Council Memo No. 1348-70 Page 2 on file in the Oklahoma City Planning Department. We have verbal assurance from Mr. Dan Batchelor, Counsel for Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority, that the agreement between Oklahoma Health Sciences Foundation, fnc. and the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority has been approved and signed by the Foundation but is pending ratification by affected organizations which make up the Oklahoma Health Sciences Foundation.
