IN THE EVENT THE OKLAHOMA CITY URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY OR A SUCCESSOR AGENCY HOULD SE TO EXIST WHEREAS, heretofore on the lOffr Oay of January, 1964, a Certificate of Incorporation was issued to the Oklaloma City Housing Foundation, Inc., a non-profit, charitable, benevolent corporation formed for the purpose of pro- vidi.ng housing for moderate income families as a non-profit sponsor-mortgagor under Section 221(d)(3) of the National Housing Act of 1949 as amended; and WHEREAS, the Oklahoma City Housing Foundation, Inc. is a resource f.or 221(d)(3) housing in the University Medical Urban Renewal A.rea to be relied on in ttre event no other redeveloper provides such resource; and WHEREAS, proof of such resouy'ce requires certification of eligibility from the Federal Housing Administrati{n which must reflect a showing of con- tinuity on the Board of Directors of said non-profit corporation; and WHEREAS, in order to accomplish continuity on said Board of Directors, the Articles of Incorporation of the Oklahoma City Housing Foundation, Inc. were amended on the 21st day of January, tgdO to provide for the Executive Director or chief executive official of the Oklahofna City Urban Renewal Authority to sit as a Director; and in the event the Oklahorla City Urban Renewal Authority ceases to exist for any reason, the City Council of Oklahoma City shall designate a city official to be a Director. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT nndOlVED by the City Council of the City of Oklahoma City as follows: That in order to provide for the necessary continuity on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma City Housing Foundation, Inc. , the City Council o, .e ,^r;y of ma City shall appoint a city official I , i to sit as a Director in the event th" Oklahoma City Urban Renewal I AutJrority or any successor age ceases to exist.
